We select the very best photographers to lead our events; professionals with years of hard-won experience who not only create exceptional landscape photographs but also have a passion for teaching and a track record as workshop leaders.
This variety of photographers and locations (not to mention the Great British Weather!) means each workshop has its own unique character, but all are designed to give guests a thorough understanding of professional landscape techniques within a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Follow acclaimed landscape photographer Jeremy Walker through a one-day LEE Filter Workshop on location. He guides a student step-by-step through a variety of shots using a range of filters.
Ideally suited to photographers who wish to learn more about the use of filters, the workshops are held in stunning locations around the UK.
A unique feature of the workshops is that each photographer will be given a comprehensive LEE System to use for the duration of the workshop.
Members of LEE Filters' technical staff will also be on hand to offer assistance and advice, and there will also be the opportunity to experiment with a wide selection of LEE filters under the watchful eye of the workshop leader.
"Your photographic skills and knowledge were clearly evident throughout our training combined with the unique ability to instruct in a clear and enthusiastic way.
We both enjoyed our two days immensely, the course is very good value for money especially as you dedicate 100% of your time to the student and are not off taking your own photographs. We would certainly book a further course with yourself."
"Thanks once again for a very enjoyable and informative workshop in Wales. It exceeded all my expectations plus the accommodation and food were very good as well.
The help and advice given by Pete from LEE was an added bonus plus being able to access such a large range of filters. Overall I think your courses are excellent value for money given the high quality of advice and help which is provided."

Learn how to research a location and the secrets behind finding those out-of-the-way hidden gems that give you the edge.
We will take a look at the basics of composition, how to construct an image using foreground interest, lead in lines, scale, colour and the use of the rule of thirds.
The photographer's raw ingredient. We will look at understanding light, how its direction, colour and quality affect the finished photograph and how to add an element of control using filters.
When and where to use filters, deciding which is the right filter for the subject and learning how to meter correctly when using graduated filters.
Learning despite the conditions!
In 2016, a group gathered in Glencoe to immerse themselves in photography and filters for a weekend.
By the end of it, nobody could accuse them of being fair-weather photographers, as Ailsa McWhinnie reports in LEExposure magazine.
"I'd like to thank you for a most enjoyable workshop in Portland, the tuition was pitched at just the right level and all comments constructive and encouraging.
I thoroughly enjoyed the day and best of all think I may have got some shots that could be worth putting up on the wall! I look forward to joining you again soon and thank you and the guys from LEE for your efforts."
"Thank you for a truly great week-end in Glencoe. You were an inspiring leader, and the enthusiastic and fun Lee team was the 'icing on the cake', with their bag of filters to experiment with.
I so appreciated the fact that we were 'out in the field' for almost all of the week-end, with five different locations on Saturday! Great! I came away with new skills, which I hadn't expected, as well as several images that I am really pleased with."
