Inspiration & Education
Jeremy Walker Filter Workshop
Follow acclaimed photographer Jeremy Walker through a days filter workshop on location. He guides a student step-by-step through a variety of shots using a range of filters.
"Your photographic skills and knowledge were clearly evident throughout our training combined with the unique ability to instruct in a clear and enthusiastic way.
We both enjoyed our two days immensely, the course is very good value for money especially as you dedicate 100% of your time to the student and are not off taking your own photographs. We would certainly book a further course with yourself."
"Thanks once again for a very enjoyable and informative workshop in Wales. It exceeded all my expectations plus the accommodation and food were very good as well.
The help and advice from Pete and Graham from LEE was an added bonus plus being able to access such a large range of filters. Overall I think your courses are excellent value for money given the high quality of advice and help which is provided."
Each workshop will be limited to just eight photographers and will concentrate on these key elements of landscape photography:
Learn how to research a location and the secrets behind finding those out of the way hidden gems that give you the edge.
We will take a look at the basics of composition, how to construct an image using foreground interest, lead in lines, scale, colour and the use of the rule of thirds.
The photographer's raw ingredient. We will look at understanding light, how its direction, colour and quality affect the finished photograph and how to add an element of control using filters.
When and where to use filters, deciding which is the right filter for the subject and learning how to meter correctly when using graduated filters.

"I'd like to thank you for a most enjoyable workshop in Portland, the tuition was pitched at just the right level and all comments constructive and encouraging.
I thoroughly enjoyed the day and best of all think I may have got some shots that could be worth putting up on the wall! I look forward to joining you again soon and thank you and the guys from Lee for your efforts."
"Thank you for a truly great week-end in Glencoe. You were an inspiring leader, and the enthusiastic and fun Lee team was the 'icing on the cake', with their bag of filters to experiment with.
I so appreciated the fact that we were 'out in the field' for almost all of the week-end, with five different locations on Saturday! Great! I came away with new skills, which I hadn't expected, as well as several images that I am really pleased with."
