Photographic Workshops

LEE Filters have teamed up with leading landscape photographer Jeremy Walker for a series of weekend, midweek and one day photographic workshops around the U.K.
Jeremy is a professional landscape photographer with many years experience, his work has been used extensively by agencies and corporate clients around the world. He is an experienced course leader of workshops and tutorials, his easy going personality, inspirational photographs and close attention to detail help his students gain a thorough understanding of landscape techniques on both digital and film.
Each workshop will be limited to just eight photographers and will concentrate on the following key elements of landscape photography:
Location
Learn how to research a location and the secrets behind finding those out of the way hidden gems that give your photography the edge.
Light
The photographer’s raw ingredient. We will look at understanding light, how its direction, colour and quality affect the finished photograph and how to add an element of control using filters.
Composition
We will take a look at the basics of composition, how to construct an image using foreground interest, lead in lines, scale, colour and the use of the rule of thirds.
Filters
When and where to use filters, deciding which is the right filter for the subject and learning how to meter correctly when using graduated filters.

Ideally suited to photographers who wish to learn more about the use of filters, the workshops are being held across stunning locations around the UK, including Wales, Scotland and Dorset. A unique feature of the workshops is that each photographer will be given a comprehensive LEE System to use for the duration of the workshop. Members of LEE Filters’ technical staff will also be on hand to offer assistance and advice on how to use the LEE System and there will also be the opportunity to experiment and use a wide selection of filters from the extensive LEE range under Jeremy’s watchful eye.
