Combination Filters
Combinations are the secret weapon of the filter user in the know. They are grad filters with a different colour at each end of the filter and although this can be any combination of colours, it will most usually be an ND and a warm up.
Filters where one colour covers the entire filter and another is overdyed at one end are termed a ‘with’ combination – separate colours at each end are denoted as ‘to’ combinations.
